All aspects of wort production, cellar work, basic lab work, packaging, and brewery sanitation.


Raw material handling and organization


Milling operations and wort production: mashing, lautering, boiling, and cooling

Accurate and timely record keeping  

Yeast pitching, cell counting, fermentation monitoring   

Cone dumps

Dry hopping  

CIP operations, hot and cold side 

Maintain overall cleanliness of brewery facilities

Centrifugation and transferring operations 

Carbonation and preparation of Bright beer for packaging  

Cleaning and filling kegs 

Can line operation 

Loading and unloading trucks 

Performing routine maintenance of brewery equipment as needed 

Perform quality assurance prior to packaging and prior to the release of finished goods

Represent Industrial Arts brewing at public tastings, festivals, and events


Minimum 1-year production brewery experience  

Brewing education preferred

Forklift experience

Dedication to cleaning and sanitizing

Able to twist, bend, kneel, work in a loud, wet factory environment every shift

Able to regularly lift/carry 44-pound boxes

Able to regularly lift/carry 55-pound bags above waist level

Availability to work nights and weekends 

Desire to interact with customers, vendors, personable attitude   


Shipping and receiving, ware house cleaning and materials organization


Forklift experience

Able to twist, bend, kneel, work in a loud, wet factory environment every shift

Able to regularly lift/carry 44-pound boxes

Able to regularly lift/carry 55-pound bags above waist level


Preparing and organizing outgoing shipments

Receiving incoming shipment and communication of relevant information  

Securing and organization of packaged beer off of the production line into cold storage  

Organization of the cold box and warehouse 

Maintaining clean and orderly cold box and warehouse and production spaces

Inventory of raw materials and finished goods

Loading delivery vehicles with correct number of kegs and cases


Serve our beer to customers while maintaining a friendly, welcoming and clean environment.


Able to lift 30+ pounds

Able to transport up to 160 pounds

Ability to work nights/weekends

Passion for beer and customer service

Positive attitude - grace under pressure

Able to work well in a team environment

Bartending or wait staff experience desired.

Craft beer knowledge preferred.

Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-moving environment.


Answer questions and educate customers about Industrial Arts Brewing and our beers, the differences between beer styles as well as the history and culture around Industrial Arts and craft beer in general 

Wash and sanitize glassware

Consistent communication with Tap Room Supervisor regarding all areas of the taproom

Complete all paperwork involved to day-to-day operations (inventory sheets, incident reports etc.) 

Ensure the Tap Room, bar and bar area, counters, sinks, utensils, coolers, shelving and storage areas are clean and comply with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards at all times.

Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests. 

Cicerone Beer Server certification a plus

TiPS training a plus
